Mountain Snowmad
Detailed description
I've been skiing since I was 4, and snowboarding since I was 17. I absolutely love the mountain, especially big mountain riding and dropping cliffs. Riding powder is like living in a dream, and that's why I live in a mountain town! Although I love big mountain riding, I've also taught tons of people how to ski, so I am proficient in being able to recognize individual riding styles and catering to them so that people can have the experience they are looking for. Everyone has different things they enjoy, and I love being a part of helping them access those parts of the mountain!
What I love about being a ski guide?
I love being able to experience the joy on peoples' faces when they get to ski the type of terrain they love! I know what it's like to go to a new mountain and try to poke around it without having prior knowledge, and finding the terrain you REALLY wanted to ski towards the end of your trip. Thankfully guiding can be a great way to fast-track your experience so you can get what you want out of it!
What makes me a great ski guide?
Listening to individual wants and needs of the skiers to provide them with the best experience. People should have access to the experience THEY will enjoy the most, not what the guide think is the "most optimal". Great listening and communication skills make a great guide!
