Detailed description
Hey ski world, I'm Madeline and I love hit the hill as early as possible to tour up with that golden sunglow on fresh powder. At Breckenridge, I operated lifts on Peak 8 last season. If you rode the gondola, Rocky, Colorado, Tbar, or 6 chair, we've definitely met! Working as the first people to ski each morning- even before patrol!- to the final run with the grooming cats after last chair closes, I was lucky enough to experience this mountain in her full grace. I have toured up every peak (and almost every run), not to mention skiing down all the named (and unnamed gems) trails. In the Summit County area, I enjoy touring around with some pretty epic backcountry riders. There's still a ton more for me to learn, but what a beautiful place to explore. Not to mention the other hills we are lucky enough to take advantage of thanks to the Epic Pass.
What I love about being a ski guide?
I love being a ski guide because it spreads the joy that everyone should experience when visiting Breckenridge. If my own adventuring can help others have a great time, please, ask away! Especially because thanks to a torn ACL while catching some summer turns in the Tetons, I'm even more dedicated to helping others enjoy the hill this winter! I promise to help maximize the potential of each day since vacations never seem to last long enough. You'll be going home with memories of gliding seamlessly down smooth trails, sharing laughs over hot meals between runs, and possibly even some accomplished grins earned by conquering new terrain.
What makes me a great ski guide?
A great ski guide personalizes each recommendation. We start, of course, by asking you what your goals are then finesse your itinerary to reach them. Because I live at the foot of the resort, my suggestions to you come from personal experiences. For example, how to adeptly maneuver around busy chairlifts to avoid peak hours, how to progress on more terrain as your skills during the week sharpen, what to order at restaurants while combining meal times and transferring peaks (a handy time saver!). Personally, I love adventure skiing on all of the peaks. But I also understand how to offer a family-fun-zone driven vacation. No matter how we ski, isn't it just wonderful that we are lucky enough to* ski? Now let's start scanning those ski passes!
